Bonnie began pursuing her interest in art while attending Newton High School in Massachusetts and continued studying
at Massachusetts College of Art. She attended classes and workshops with several Cape Ann artists while raising her family
in Rockport, MA.
In 1984 she became a student of the late Helen Van Wyk, absorbing as much as she could on the study of still life
painting from this very fine artist and teacher. She has been an artist member of the North Shore Arts Association since 1995 and upon
retiring from a 33 year career with the Rockport Public Schools, joined Local Colors Artists' Cooperative in 2008.
Her paintings can
be found in collections on Cape Ann and beyond.
