David Katz

David has been working as a professional commercial and fine art photographer for the past 13 years. After graduating from the New England School of Photography (NESOP) in 2000, David immediately began working as a corporate portrait photographer as well as exhibiting and selling his fine art photographs.

Over the past decade, David has shown his work in over 40 solo and group exhibitions. His broad range of subject matter includes everything from scenic images, taken both locally and around the globe, still life & food, abstracts and beyond. He prides himself on carefully composing images that result in strong visual impact for the viewer.

Always eager to grow photographically, David’s commercial work has evolved to include lifestyle and food photography as well as interior and exterior architectural photography. In 2007, David was hired as the Academic Director of New England School of Photography, where he divided his time between being a professional photographer and an administrator and educator. Eager to be able to devote more time to his own work, David recently transitioned to the role of Director of Admissions and Recruiting at NESOP, allowing him to continue his commitment to NESOP but providing more time to return to his own professional work
