I discovered my love of art later in life, sparked initially by my professional work as a child clinical psychologist.  Over the years, I witnessed how creativity and art work could help children find joy in creative self-expression and connect with others.  Through these professional experiences, I not only helped young people explore their creativity, I also awakened my own.

As a native New Englander, I have always found myself drawn to the expansive beauty of our beaches, forests and mountains.  I became intrigued by how wind, water, and time could transform wood into natural sculptures. I began collecting beautiful pieces of driftwood and fallen branches and exploring how these materials could be combined into natural sculptures.  I enjoyed the personal exploration of my creativity, but also realized that my artistry could be enhanced by collaborating and creating with others.

This interest led me to Liz Lovell, a close friend and life-long educator, who also discovered her skill in creating pottery later in life.  We share ideas and explore different themes and structures finding new ways to integrate our mediums and artistic design.  As we explore ideas for new designs, we encourage one another to extend our use of color, shape and texture, resulting in unique pieces of collaborative art that we hope you will enjoy in your home, office or living space.
