Katherine Bagley
Katherine Bagley is a jewelry artist based in Gloucester with over 35 years of experience. She began her craft as an apprentice to a Boston silversmith and further developed her skills through workshops and self-directed learning. Working primarily with mixed metals and enamel, her pieces are inspired by nature and characterized by distinctive patterns, vibrant colors, and textures.
Recently she has expanded her practice to include kinetic objects— such as mobiles and tabletop stabiles. These whimsical pieces have been crafted from recycled materials and influenced by Alexander Calder.
Katherine’s work has been juried into The League of NH Craftsmen, The Salted Cod Arthouse in Gloucester and numerous exhibitions. She has been a member of Rocky Neck Art Colony since 2012 and has recently been juried into Local Colors in Gloucester, MA.
