"Dramatic Nature" is the theme of Patricia Doherty's new oil paintings which will be on display at Local Colors Gallery, 121 Main Street in Gloucester from July 29 until August 18.She loves capturing on canvas the profusion of color seen in the sky and reflected in the water at sunrise and sunset. Her oil paintings are all one of one with no prints made. There will be a reception on July 29 from 7 until 9 pm when you can meet the artist. There will be live music and light refreshments.
